Mr. Gilchriest began his time as a Professor of Education at York University in 2022
after spending 12 years in the Secondary Education classroom. His main focus will
be to prepare the next generation of classroom teachers, using his knowledge and experience
to guide them into their professional careers. He returned to York after spending
6 years teaching Biology at Bridgeland High School (Cypress, Texas). Before that he
taught Science at Keller Central High School (Ft. Worth, Texas) and Keller Middle
School (Keller, TX).
