Dr. Josephine Schamp is the chemistry professor and teaches everything from the general
chemistry introductory courses to the physical chemistry – quantum mechanics/chemistry
course. Dr. Schamp has a strong research background which she utilizes to begin an
undergraduate research program on campus. She stays current in the professional literature
to keep students at the forefront of learning. In addition, she continues to publish
articles as well as serve as a reviewer for a scientific journal. Outside of the classroom
Dr. Schamp sponsors the Stem Society and supports students in all their campus endeavors.
