Caleb Rush '10

Caleb Rush, class of 2010 has been selected as the speaker for winter commencement at York University. Rush is well known in York, having been raised locally and graduating from York High School. After his time as a York Duke, he then attended York College in the fall of 2006 and later graduated Summa Cum Laude. Caleb and his wife Aubrey (Sanchez ’11) Rush married in 2010 and have two children, Mateo (2) and Rio (6 months.)

Guests

The doors open at 6:00 p.m. for guests. No tickets are required. The event is open to the public, with seating on a first come first served basis. No reserved seating is permitted, with the exception of seating arranged before the event for individuals with special needs. To arrange special seating, please contact (402) 363-5614.

Graduates

 
All graduates and their escorts (one person) will meet in the Bartholomew Performing Arts Center choir room no later than 6:15 on Thursday evening.For those of you receiving a master's or bachelor's degree please instruct your escort to be there at the same time. Master's and bachelor’s graduates will select one escort (father, mother, husband, wife, etc.) who will march with you into the auditorium. Your escort will carry your hood and will be seated next to you during the commencement ceremony. No escorts are required for associate graduates. 

As this, a professional ceremony, York University will be providing your official graduation regalia. Any unapproved enhancements to regalia will be confiscated and returned to you after the graduation ceremony. Graduates may only wear items provided by the graduation coordinator. No additional chords, stoles, decorations, or ornaments should be added to the graduation dress.
