General Studies is an interdepartmental program allowing students to build their own
degree plan based on interests that may not be met by any single major or department.
General Studies majors combine primary and secondary concentrations with their electives
to create a tailor-made degree. The primary and secondary areas of concentration must
be taken from different departments. Students accepted into this degree program will
be assigned to an adviser from their primary area of concentration.
