Endowed Scholarships
Endowed Scholarships underwrite awards for students each year, making the York Experience far more accessible.
Priority is given to those could not attend York University without scholarship fund
assistance.
Funding a named endowment - A gift of $50,000 will establish a new, named endowed scholarship. Donors may include
restrictions for the award such as financial need, academic achievement, academic
major, co-curricular activities, future plans among others. Advancement staff will
work with you to assure the award is viable and can be consistently matched with a
student. Annual reports provide benefactors updates on endowment growth and student
recipients.
Gifts for endowment, including the general scholarship fund, may be donated at any
time in any amount.
